Patrick has successfully represented his clients, which include government agencies and companies in the insurance, oil and gas, construction, and transportation industries, in state and federal district and appellate court. Patrick has authored numerous successful motions on behalf of his clients and regularly handles pre-trial activities such as accident investigations, depositions and witness interviews.

    • Prepared successful motion for summary judgment concerning insurance coverage on behalf of a national insurance company in a complex case involving the electrocution of an onsite workman at construction site in federal court. Successfully defended an appeal of that judgment in the federal appellate court, whereby the motion for summary judgment was affirmed.
    • Prepared successful motion for summary judgment in favor of a property insurer in a coverage and bad faith litigation.Obtained favorable settlements in favor of a property owner in premises liability suit involving wrongful death, survival, and mental anguish claims.
    • Obtained a favorable settlement in favor of a business owner in a complex case involving single-business entity, alter ego, and multiple intellectual property claims arising under both state and federal law.
    • Successfully represented a commercial construction contractor in severe personal injury case, defending both personal injury claims and contractual cross-claims by and between several construction company co-defendants.
