Biography
Larry Mobley is a North Carolina native who attended Appalachian State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Political Science, focusing on economic and political theory. Larry moved to New Orleans in 2002 to attend Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2005.

- Obtained a zero verdict in a $40 million federal jury trial concerning a claim of price fixing in the pharmaceutical industry and obtained the client’s full award its open account and attorneys’ fees claim.
- Enjoined the Governor from violating contracts with BESE.
- Vacated an unfavorable arbitration award for a broker-dealer.
- Enjoined a fraudulent financial advisor and, thereafter, successfully negotiated an over $1.3 million settlement with his broker-dealer employer.
- Enjoined multiple arbitrations from proceeding against a broker-dealer.
- Successfully tried an exception of prescription against plaintiffs seeking to unwind two annuity contract agreements.
- Successfully defeated plaintiffs’ attempts in a class-action to conduct merit based discovery resulting in a favorable settlement.
- Successfully represented a client in Louisiana State Court concerning a claim based on Delaware Chancery law.
- Represented and resolved claims against a former Saints player concerning the sale of tax credits.
- Represented a former Lieutenant Governor against a broker-dealer concerning a life insurance policy resulting in a favorable result.
- Tried scores of FINRA arbitrations successfully for a broker-dealer resulting in zero awards.

- While earning his master’s degree, Larry taught statistics and research modeling techniques to undergraduates.
